Overview
Outstanding tele lens from Ricoh. Not something I would have sought out on its own but I got it as part of my KS-2 kit which also included a nice MC Rikenon 1.4/50mm and a winder. Thought I’d give it a whirl against my other modern K-mount lenses and was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of images it makes. It’s a length I don’t use much but it’s definitely top-notch. I’m happy to have it in my collection.
Special Notes
I don’t know that Ricoh actually made their own lenses, but I’ve been impressed with every Ricoh-branded lens I’ve ever used. They were likely outsourced (as with many others) to OEMs like Cosina.
