Sharp, contrasty macro lens for Minolta MD made in Korea for Sears, probably by OEM Samyang. I’ve consistently had good results with the Korean made lenses I’ve used, despite their reputation, and this one is no exception. Multicoated, quick, and close-focusing. What more can you ask for? I got a fair amount of use from it on our 2006 San Diego vacation. Did get a little sand on it at the beach though 🙁
